SCROLL

History of Matsubaya

After the war, there were many Japanese sweets shops selling sweets, which is one of the origins of Ameya-Yoko. Matsubaya was a greengrocer when it was founded, but since it delivered confectionery ingredients to a Japanese confectionery store, the handling of beans and dried foods increased and it became a specialty store. Currently, it has dried fruits, sweets, snacks, seasonings and various other items to meet the needs of our customers.

Carefully selected purchases

Domestic products are purchased directly from the production area through purchases and intermediaries. Overseas products are purchased through trading companies. Trading companies carry out strict inspections, but if they are purchased directly from overseas, they cannot be imported in containers or confirmed for inspection. It seems that overseas products are purchased with extra care.

Highest quality

Dry foods lined up in supermarkets are purchased from vendors and packed in bags, so it takes time to line up in stores. At Matsubaya, the products are packed in bags immediately after purchase and lined up in the store, and the products is restocked quickly, so you can always get good quality products.
